Control boards and spare parts for checkout counters: the UNIVERSAL line
G.R. Elettronica manufactures the "UNIVERSAL" line of electrical control boards for checkout counters, designed for two different needs: those who carry out maintenance and need a reliable spare part to install right away, and those who manufacture checkout counters and need a ready-to-integrate control unit to motorise them.
The base models, with one or two motors, are always in stock in our warehouse for fast delivery — essential when a checkout counter is down and needs to be back in service. On request, we also carry out customisations and modifications for specific series-production needs.
Technical features
The control board integrates all the electronics needed to control motors, photocells and signalling systems in a single device. Its compact size allows easy fitting into the side panel of the checkout counter, with simple fixing via two side screws on the front panel.
The membrane keypad, with an intuitive design, makes daily operations quick and easy: every selected function is confirmed by a corresponding LED.
The board's cover is divided into two sections: the front protects the electronic board, while the rear houses the terminal blocks for connecting the counter's electrical devices.
The board is powered directly from the mains and supplied with a cable fitted with a Schuko plug. It is available in two versions, for checkout counters with one or two conveyor belts.

| Feature | Description |
| Control panel: | The control board's interface consists of a membrane keypad with 5 buttons and 7 LEDs. |
| Settings: | The operating mode of the motor and signal lights is set by the installer via a dip switch on the electronic board. |
| Photocells: | The board is designed to control a pair of photocells, either the XGR250 model (available as an accessory) or a commercial NPN-type 12V photocell, or an auxiliary photocell. |
| Motor: | The board controls one motor driving a conveyor belt and houses a 6.3 µF capacitor inside the cover. The motor must be fitted with NC thermal protection and powered at 230Vac mains voltage, max 0.37kW. |
| Pedal: | The board has inputs for connecting a pedal with a clean NO contact. |
| Signal light: | Up to 3 lamps powered at 230Vac mains voltage, max 60W each, can be connected to the board. Up to 3 LED strips powered at 12V, for a total maximum of 350mA, can also be connected. |
| Aux output: | The AUX output supports a clean changeover contact at 230Vac with a maximum current of 1A. |
| Power supply: | The board is powered from the mains, 230Vac 50Hz, and supplied with a 150cm cable fitted with a Schuko plug. |
| Enclosure: | Plastic enclosure, with IP4X protection and IP65 on the front. |
| Connections: | Pluggable terminals for cables up to 1.5 mm² and a mains cable with Schuko plug. |
| Dimensions: | Enclosure: height 52 mm, width 180 mm, depth 188 mm. Front panel: height 60 mm, width 220 mm, depth 3 mm. |
| Weight: | 1,400 g. |
| Directives and standards: | The product complies with the applicable European directives on electrical safety (2014/35/EU), electromagnetic compatibility (2014/30/EU) and restriction of hazardous substances, RoHS (2011/65/EU), together with the specific technical standards it is subject to. |
